About this Learning Opportunity

EdPuzzle is a great tool to package parts of a video for your students to watch and consider. By inserting markers and questions in your videos, you provide students with a more teacher-coached approach, pausing where appropriate, and asking questions to guide reflections. Monitor student work over time, and you’ll be able to see the indicators of their growth clearly, and thus shape next steps in a more informed way. Scope out how Edpuzzle can help students in your classroom become more thoughtful consumers of the information you share with them over video. Curious about other apps? Google Slides and SMART Learning Suite also provide ways of presenting videos free of ads, and contextualized for learning. Although our focus will be EdPuzzle, we’ll definitely also explore the potential within these other core apps to provide tailored support for teachers and students using video with each other.
