About this Learning Opportunity
Through demonstrations and with our own students in mind, envision and build tried-and-true, sensible online instructional practices. This is the best of “10 Days of Google” distilled into 3 hours of back-to-school practicality that shapes real results!
With clear expectations, routines, and processes established up front, your new Google Classroom, Meet, and Chrome browser online workspaces can shape friendly, facilitative, and ethically sound interactions for students of all ages.
Engage learners using Jamboard strategies that help pull together a group into the same mindspace, and then process information in various ways.
Play with Docs and Slides’ newer features, and explore how hyperdocs can help you personalize learning, and discover grab-and-go templates that move you forward fast
With a little up front time today establishing (Forms and Sheets survey) processes for lines of communication effective from Day One, you’ll save a ton of time down the road sorting the logistics of communications with parents and guardians.
Learn now how to create a self-marking and/or branching Forms quiz and gain time back throughout the entire year ahead, and then, once you have some quiz data...
...let the evidence of learning shape next steps by setting up your Sheet to automatically color-code the data to provide “at-a-glance” insights to your students’ growth over time.
See what’s new in Google Sites and consider setting up a Class site OR providing students with Sites project challenges this year.
