About this Learning Opportunity

We have created multiple opportunities for you to visit schools during the 2015-2016 school year in Edmonton and surrounding areas who have begun implementing the Career and Technology Foundations Programs of Study.

You will have the opportunity to see aspects of their programs in operation and hear about the journey the school has been on. There will be time for questions with school staff, opportunities to network with others and time to begin planning for the implementation in your own school.

Four school from the Parkland School Division (Wabamun, Entwistle, Seba, and Tomahawk) coordinate to offer CTF to their 160 + students from Grades 6-9. They collectively gather at Seba Beach School for a week, 3 times a year, to engage in these CTF Challenges. They are very excited to be trying this new CTF model and would love to share our learning with others.

This learning opportunity is being provided through funding from Alberta Education.
