About this Learning Opportunity

This interactive two day workshop will engage you in learning the principles of Project Based Learning (PBL).  Through a combination of direct instruction, video analysis and hands-on collaborative work, you will have the opportunity to plan and design an engaging and rigorous project for your students. Be prepared to provide/receive formative feedback about your project from your colleagues.

By the end of the two days, you will have a complete project that directly aligns with Alberta's Programs of Study and includes effective formative and summative assessment practices. You will walk away from the workshop with a project that is "ready" to introduce to your students!

Note:  There will be "homework" following the first day of the workshop.

This session is being offered on a cost recovery basis.
