About this Learning Opportunity
This ongoing learning opportunity will extend the teaching of John Hattie beyond his presentation in Alberta in August 2014. Using Google Hangouts, you will join us for three hour "hangouts". Each hangout will run for approximately 60 minutes. You will engage in professional dialogue around what John Hattie's teachings might say in relation to the Cross-Curricular Competencies, as outlined in the Ministerial Order on Student Learning. You will have the opportunity to utilize Google Communities as a forum to share your thoughts and questions, in preparation for the three online conversations.
Not familiar with how to use Google Hangouts and Google Communities? No worries! Support will be available to help you set up for this 21st century learning experience!
This learning opportunity is being provided through funding from Alberta Education.
