About this Learning Opportunity
Are you using models in your class for teaching numeracy, and if so, are you using them to their full potential? We will start by examining the theory behind models, including the work of Jerome Bruner, and then focus on models you can use in your classroom, starting at the kindergarten level. We will focus on ten-frames, Cuisenaire rods, number lines, arrays, and bead strings.

Carly Abraham
