The workshop includes EAL foundational knowledge, sharing of recommended resources and some high impact strategies to support your EAL students.

We will explore the: 

Part 1:  

-Differences between Benchmarks 2.0 and Benchmarks 1.0 

- New 8 level proficiency scales

Part 2:

- 3 required competencies (Vocabulary, Sentence Structure and Cohesive Devices) for annual assessment
- Benchmarking Writing sample
