About this Learning Opportunity

As SS teachers, it is helpful to understand how you engage with the texts (paper or multimodal) you encounter. By having this understanding, you have more tools needed to more effectively assist your students to think as social studies students. In this session, you will be given an opportunity to become more cognizant of the thinking you - as a SS teacher - use as you engage with various text. With this new metacognition, we can add to your lessons to improve student SS thinking and application.
