Join Ashline and Donna as we investigate fun ways to incorporate deliberate Mental Math practice into your classroom in this 45-minute webinar. Research supports having math facts firmly embedded into long-term memory as essential for students to become better problem-solvers. Overall, having this knowledge makes for confident students who enjoy math! Come explore strategies to enhance the development of number sense, computational fluency and application of number concepts, for starters. We will delve into multiple cognitive strategies you can easily include in your daily practice.
This session is open to all educators from Kindergarten through to Grade 6, as we will look at best practices that can be used across every grade! See how to easily incorporate a variety of Mental Math practice throughout your day that will build equity and community in your classroom as you maximize your student’s full potential.
