About this Learning Opportunity
The CTF/CTS Professional Development Day is a conference that brings together CTF and CTS teachers from across the province to connect with one another, as well as with presenters from schools, industry, and government. Sessions focus on the successful implementation of CTF/CTS programs
This year’s keynote speakers are Kathryn Andrews, Justin Gabinet, and Paul Hrynew, who will share how apprenticeship education and credentials have changed in Alberta in order to meet today's dynamic job market and to promote student success.
You will also have the opportunity to share ideas and approaches with colleagues that support student learning.

Kathryn Andrews
Kathryn Andrews is the Director of Apprenticeship Education and Pathways with Alberta Advanced Education. Kathryn has worked in the Government of Alberta for more than 17 years in the fields of apprenticeship education, career development and supporting youth. She is passionate about helping Albertans pursue post-secondary education and finding a career they love.
Justin Gabinet
Justin Gabinet is a Senior Program Coordinator with the Ministry of Advanced Education, where his passion for education truly shines. With a background as a dedicated CTS teacher for a decade, specializing in high school Foods, Justin brings a wealth of real-world teaching experience to his current role. Paul Hrynew is the Manager of Program Implementation with Alberta Advanced Education.
