About this Learning Opportunity
This session will focus on the development of the first KUSP “Forces can affect properties and movement of objects in different ways.” The science curriculum subject introduction states “The Science curriculum engages students in active investigation to build scientific knowledge and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.” To accomplish this, we will pay close attention to the skills and procedures that require students to “conduct an investigation” and discuss how to help students be part of the planning and implementing of an investigation to build scientific knowledge.
