About this Learning Opportunity
Cette session est une introduction au nouveau programme d'études pour chaque niveau scolaire.
Nous donnerons aux participants une vue d'ensemble du programme de sciences, y compris un bref examen de sa structure, des conseils sur la façon d'enseigner les concepts, et où trouver des ressources qui soutiennent la mise en œuvre.
Les participants se familiarisent avec les idées organisatrices et apprendront comment les éléments de connaissances, compréhension, et habiletés & procédures (CCHP) fonctionnent ensemble. Cette présentation de 90 minutes comprendra également une orientation de l'informatique ; comment intégrer cette idée organisatrice dans les leçons tout au long de l'année.
This session is an introduction to the new curriculum for each grade level.
We will give participants an overview of the science curriculum, including a brief review of its structure, suggestions on how to teach the concepts, and where to find resources that support implementation.
Participants will become familiar with the organizing ideas and learn how the elements of knowledge, understanding, and skills & procedures (KUSP) work together. This 90-minute presentation will also include an orientation of computer science; how to integrate this organizing idea into lessons throughout the year.
