About this Learning Opportunity

Are you a teacher of French whose speaking skills could use a workout? Do you need to get your French back into shape after a long summer? Maybe you’re not a teacher at all, but you want to dust off your French and put it to good use?

Whatever the reason, exercise and build-up your oral French skills in a fun, low-stress, collegial, and enriching atmosphere where all participants can strengthen their language proficiency. The only prerequisite is that you have had some French instruction in the past and that you are willing to take risks to stretch your language muscles (while laughing at your mistakes!). Expect to spend two days speaking and hearing French in an atmosphere that boosts your language competence and confidence. The linguistic workout will leave you exhausted in the best possible way: motivated and ready to start the school year or achieve your language goals.

This year two sessions will be offered:

  • Session 1- For low intermediate speakers (CEFR A2 level) - You will have to register for this one separately at 24-FR-176
  • Session 2- For intermediate and more independent speakers (CEFR B1-B2+ level)

This session addresses the LQS competencies

  • #3: Demonstrating a Professional Body of Knowledge
