About this Learning Opportunity
Early writers have something in common with all writers - their writing expresses their voice and human spirit – it is the making of meaning. We will review the nature of the writing process and the role you can play in writing development. Practical and connected suggestions will be shared.
All learning opportunities with the ERLC regional team will focus on the Alberta Education and district priority areas.

About the Facilitator
Irene Heffel is a literacy consultant and educator with over 35 years of experience at all levels. She has worked with both elementary and secondary teachers to implement best practices in curriculum, assessment and Backward Design.
