About this Learning Opportunity
At this informal IN-PERSON DROP-IN session, explore ways to power-up the Computer Science curriculum to engage your K-6 students in Science, ELAL, Social Studies, Math, and the Arts, all within a PBL approach. Join Janet Bell and her selection of robots suitable for use in K-6 classrooms, set up as stations so that you can easily get your hands on the items you are most interested in learning about. Try them out and chat about how you might see them being used in the grades and subjects you teach. This is a great opportunity to "try before you buy" - or even before you borrow them from the ATA library. If you are interested in items such as the Sphero Mini, Sphero Indi, Matatalab Tale-Bot, Codey Rocky, Colby the Code & Go Robot Mouse, Botley the Coding Robot, Ozobot, and more...then this is the place for you to spend some time for some tactile exploration on a Fall afternoon! Think of it as a K-6 Robotics Open House!
