In Pursuit of Collaboration and Equity
For the past two years, ERLC has been working with a number of school jurisdictions in Alberta and development partner Hāpara to create and distribute a shared digital curriculum resource collection with teachers and students throughout the province. The goal of this collaborative is to increase academic efficacy for both classroom and distance learning, at significant cost savings for districts.
ERLC is committed to maintaining the resources as “evergreen’… publishing new and revised resources according to new curriculum standards in partnership/collaboration with all participating school jurisdictions. ERLC has also negotiated free access for all Alberta K-12 school districts, schools, staff and students.
“The support provided through this initiative and partnership has the potential to meet the very needs school authorities are working on now and into the future. With an Alberta-centric curriculum, resources, assessments and the ability to collaborate on specific grade levels, it brings equitable access to support all school authorities and teachers in Alberta”. – John Waterhouse, Executive Director
