Highlights and Lessons Learned 2009-2010:
Limited sessions were offered in this area based on requests from the region. One challenge is that when classroom teachers are “trained” to deliver specific sessions it may sometimes be difficult for them to get time away from their schools to share that training with others. ERLC was able to successfully offer one safety session during the year. That session was offered in the context of a Career and Technology Studies Professional Development day planned in conjunction with Edmonton Public and Edmonton Catholic Schools. The day took place at the end of January 2010 and offered 23 sessions to approximately 200 CTS teachers from the ERLC region.
