Highlights and Lessons Learned 2009-2010
- The Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium was able to offer learning opportunities, which were well attended, for teachers in social studies and mathematics both at teachers’ conventions and through the ERLC calendar.
- Numbers of Knowledge & Employability teachers in the ERLC region and the province are relatively small. As a result the numbers of potential presenters is also relatively small. There is an expressed need among K & E teachers to work together and to share ideas on an ongoing basis. Using structures such as a Moodle or Wiki may provide a vehicle for sharing opportunities and a community of practice. This may be a fruitful area to explore.
