About this learning opportunity
The revised high school program of studies suggests that students should learn through experiences orchestrated by their teachers. This session will provide an overview of the Math 30-1 curriculum, and then look at practical examples of experiences that you could use to help your students construct their own meaning. At least one activity per unit will be shared. You will try these activities and experience them from the point of view of the student.
Please bring a graphing calculator for this session.
A special rate has been arranged with the Fantasyland Hotel and Conference Centre for our out of town attendees. Upon your registration, the booking information will be sent to you as part of your confirmation receipt.
This learning opportunity is subsidized as a result of a grant from Alberta Education to support implementation.
