This workshop series focuses on developing a shared understanding of differentiated iinstruction across K-12 and its role in supporting student success.

All learning opportunities with the ERLC regional team will focus on the Alberta Education & district priority areas.

 

This session is being offered on a cost recovery basis.

About the facilitator(s)

Dana Antayá-Moore has worked as an educator in both Saskatchewan and Edmonton. She has also worked internationally, providing courses on instructional leadership and working with students with special needs. Dana’s focus on strength-based education and respecting and honouring student diversity is central to her work as an educator and informs her work around supporting student success. By helping educators put faces to data, share innovative and doable practices, and engage in meaningful dialogue, Dana believes we can make a positive difference to for all students.


Sandra Gluth is a creative and solution-focused educator and facilitator with a passion for making learning relevant and engaging for each and every student - and each and every educator! She spent many years as a teacher and consultant with Edmonton Public Schools where she combined her passion for teaching with the use of technology to support literacy learning for students, including those with diverse learning needs.

Currently, Sandra designs and facilitates professional learning for teachers and school leaders across Alberta and in the province of Quebec. Areas of focus include universal design for learning, differentiated instruction, flexible and inclusive learning environments, and meaningful literacy and numeracy instruction for students with significant disabilities.
