Engaging Learning Experiences for the Online Environment

  • What are examples of learning engagements that can be applied to any discipline area and any age group?
  • What are some guiding principles we can use when designing learning engagements for our students in the online environment?
  • What are some learning engagements you have used that you would like to share?

These sessions are highly interactive and collaborative so we are looking forward to hearing about your experiences and recommendations. About the facilitator(s)

Dr Jennifer Chang Wathall is a part-time instructor for the University of Hong Kong and an independent educational consultant.  With school closures, she is utilizing her expertise in Educational Technology, to conduct a virtual practicum with her MEd students. She is also currently supporting schools with professional development in effective eLearning practices. These sessions will help teachers with pedagogical principles that underpin effective eLearning to motivate and engage students in the virtual environment.
