About this learning opportunity

Students who are deaf or hard of hearing can be part of the vulnerable population if steps to improve their ability to navigate an environment that is willing to take advantage of their naivety are not taken.  Dr. Lomas will share some of his research and provide us with some ideas to improve the situation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Sign language interpretation and captioning available.

This session addresses the TQS competency #4: Establishing Inclusive Learning Environments

This learning opportunity is being provided through funding from Alberta Education.
