About this Learning Opportunity
Are you new to the CTF world? Are you an experienced option teacher who would like to transition your course over to the CTF curriculum? Then this session is for you!
You are encouraged to bring an example of an activity you have already used, or would like to use in your CTF course. You will have collaborative time to share your plans and work together on the revisions needed to make your course meaningful and engaging.
Agenda for the day:
- Background Information - CTF curriculum and all the moving parts
- CTF process for implementation
- Assessment considerations
- Applying what you know by creating or refining a lesson plan or project
- Participant feedback loop

About the Facilitator
Louise Osland has been an educator for over 40 years and prior to joining Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium, she worked as a teacher, principal and supervisor with Edmonton Public Schools. She has led AISI projects, managed teams, facilitated sessions and collaborated with colleagues on a broad spectrum of topics related to teaching and learning. Louise’s areas of interest include the new Career and Technology Foundations curriculum, Learning Commons, Moving Forward with High School Redesign, and exploring the transitioning from teacher-centered to learner-centered learning.
