About this learning opportunity

This series is designed to support teachers with fundamental questions:

  • how to get students using their language skills;
  • how to make sense of the extensive curriculum documents;
  • where to find supporting materials, lessons and performance tasks aligned to our program of studies;
  • and how to create a thriving, engaging, inclusive FSL program.

Ready-made lessons, performance tasks, and FSL resource sites as well as helpful digital tools will be shared. Although most of the sessions will be delivered in English, you will speak French in small, low risk partner activities and experience a variety of games, activities and conversation structures that promise to get students moving, having fun and enjoying speaking in French.

This learning opportunity is being provided through funding from Alberta Education.
