About this learning opportunity

In this full day workshop, you will experience Google Classroom from a student's point of view and learn how to set-up and use your own class. See how you can use Classroom to post assignments, provide feedback, encourage collaboration, differentiate and guide student learning. Simplify your workflow of student reminders, assignments, activities and content in one place. Come prepared to build your Google Classroom and begin using it right away. 

This session is for those people that are new to using Google Classroom and suitable to all divisions and subject areas.

About the facilitator(s)

Christine Quong is on secondment as an Educational Technology Consultant to the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium.  Prior to this, she served as a Collaborative Lead Teacher for Pembina Hills Public Schools where she facilitated and led the professional collaborations among teachers and supported their application of universal design for learning and differentiated instruction. Her 11 years of experience as an educator has been teaching primarily K-6. She recently completed her Master’s of Education in Educational Technology at the University of Alberta.
