About this Learning Opportunity
We have created multiple opportunities for you to visit schools during the 2016-2017 school year in Edmonton and surrounding areas who have begun implementing the Career and Technology Foundations Programs of Study.
You will have the opportunity to see aspects of their programs in operation and hear about the journey the school has been on. There will be time for questions with school staff, opportunities to network with others and time to begin planning for the implementation in your own school.
In this session, you will be provided with a survey of the kinds of CTF experiences offered at St. Mark, including their Foods and Fashion Program, Computer Science, Construction and Communication Technology. They will share assessment practices, how they are working with the new strands and curricular topics and how they are integrating our Maker Space into various subject areas.
This learning opportunity is being provided through funding from Alberta Education.
