About this learning opportunity
This half day session will primarily focus on the process that was used to develop the new test specifications for the 2011 Mathematics 9 Provincial Achievement Pilot Tests. Participants will also have an opportunity to engage in various activities that were used to create the test specifications, including item review and item development.
This session is a repeat of the December 8, 2010 session and will be repeated in the afternoon via videoconference.
About the facilitator(s)
Kelly Rota is currently the Alberta Education Mathematics 6 and 9 Exam Manager. Prior to coming to Learner Assessment in 2004, he worked in various roles within Alberta's education system including that of teacher, school administrator, and field pedagogical supervisor.
